Sending Wire Payments

The Payments Hub is where you will go to create and send wires.

You will navigate to the Payment Hub to set up a wire payment. Follow these instructions to set up domestic or international wire transfers.

When sending a wire, you will have the option to either create a new payment or create a new template. If you select New Payment, this option will allow you to make a new one-time payment to a recipient, and you’ll also have the option to save the Recipient/Template within this tool as well. Selecting New Template gives you the option to simply set up new recipients or templates for payments you may want to send in the future.

Here are some tips on wires as well as some changes made during the UBT Business conversion process.

  • An approver will be prompted for their token passcode from the VIP Access app before they are able to approve the transaction.
  • Once a wire is drafted, you cannot change it. If you draft a wire and need to make changes, you will have to cancel the wire and then go through the process of creating a wire again. This will also require the wire to go through the dual approval process again.
  • Incoming wires do not become part of available balance if you were logged in prior to the wire coming into the account.
  • The wire cutoff time is 3:30 p.m. CST. If you need to send a wire after the cutoff time, contact the UBT Wire Desk at 402.323.1279 for assistance.
