Reconnecting QuickBooks and Quicken

Follow the instructions below for necessary actions.

Now that we have converted to UBT Business, Quicken and QuickBooks users will need to reconnect the software to the new platform. Please reference the instructions below. 

  1. On the Transaction tab, select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Connect Account in the center of the page.
  3. Type Union Bank and Trust in the field when prompted and choose the correct option from the results: Union Bank and Trust Business (Lincoln, NE).
  4. Enter your UBT Business credentials and select Continue.
  5. If requested, provide additional information, which may include a secure access code.
  6. You will be given a list of accounts to review. Verify the accounts already listed under the Which accounts do you want to connect? section match the correct UBT accounts. You can also choose the matching accounts in the drop-down menu. Be sure to select the appropriate date range for the transactions that you want to have connected within UBT Business.
    1. Important: Do NOT select +Add New unless you intend to add a new account to QuickBooks Online. If you are presented with accounts you do not want to track within QuickBooks Online, uncheck the box next to the Account Name.
  7. After all accounts have been matched, select Connect and then select Finish.
