Account Management in UBT Business
Here’s what you need to know about account management capabilities.
The layout is clean and functional:
- Top navigation bar for quick access to major features
- Central workspace for account details and transactions
- Context-sensitive links on the right for additional actions
Organizing accounts with custom groups
Managing multiple accounts is made simple with drag-and-drop grouping. You can create custom account groups — such as “Operating,” “Savings,” or “Loans” — to organize your finances in a way that makes sense for your business. These groups can be collapsed, reordered, or deleted at any time, and each user can customize their view independently.
This flexibility is especially useful for businesses with complex financial structures or multiple departments.
Detailed transaction views
Clicking into an account reveals a comprehensive transaction history:
- Pending transactions are displayed at the top
- Processed transactions follow in descending date order
Each transaction may include an icon indicating an attached image (such as a check), and users can click to view or print these images. This is particularly helpful for reconciling payments or resolving disputes.
Advanced search and filtering
The platform offers both basic search and advanced filtering tools:
- Search by keyword (e.g., “transfer” or “Wells Fargo”)
- Filter by transaction type (debit, credit), date range, amount, check number, or description
These tools allow users to quickly locate specific transactions, saving time and improving accuracy during audits or reviews.
Exporting and printing transactions
You can export or print transaction data. Exports respect any filters applied, so you can download exactly what you need — whether it’s this month’s credits or a specific vendor’s payments. Supported formats include CSV and PDF, ideal for sharing with accountants or importing into financial software.
Secure messaging integration
Each account includes a built-in secure messaging feature. If you have a question about a transaction or need to report an issue, you can send a message directly from the account view. You can even attach documents or images (like a scanned check), ensuring that support staff have all the information they need to assist you.
All messages are encrypted and remain within the banking system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Account settings and nicknames
Each account can be customized with a nickname for easier identification. These nicknames are carried over from the previous system and can be updated at any time.
Historical data access
UBT ensures continuity by migrating 24 months of transaction history into the new system. Users can scroll through up to 100 transactions at a time and load more as needed. This historical access is crucial for financial planning, audits, and year-over-year comparisons.
